A technical team to train on generative AI?
Training Slasheo's tech freelancers on Claude Code
Slasheo is a community of freelancers in consulting, tech and interim management. I am a trainer at its AI School: two co-led six-week cohorts, with a third coming. I teach rigour, the fundamentals and above all how to use AI to augment your own work.

Slasheo's AI School, a course for a community of freelancers
Slasheo is a community of freelancers in consulting, tech and interim management. Its AI School runs training cohorts for its members. I take part as a trainer of co-led cohorts: I am neither an employee of Slasheo nor a training organisation.
Independent trainer, not affiliated with Anthropic: I teach a tool, Claude Code, that I use every day.
Why me: expertise recognised by peers
It started with a surprise. My ability to deliver fast, efficiently and pragmatically caught the attention of community members. When I explained that I work with AI, those who are experts in it tested me, then acknowledged me.
I then understood that I was not an ordinary user: my natural curiosity had built real expertise. The exchange went both ways. I learned a lot from them, and they gave words and a vocabulary to practices I was already applying and that were consensus in the AI world.
What the course teaches
Rigour, the fundamentals, then using AI to augment yourself. I offer a generic workflow, and each participant is invited to present their own.
- Context engineering
- Choosing and structuring what you give a model (instructions, files, examples, constraints) so that it produces a reliable result.
- Harness engineering
- Building the environment around the model: tools, permissions and checks, so that it works within guardrails.
- Skills
- Reusable sets of instructions that an agent such as Claude Code loads when the task calls for them. Each participant learns to create their own.
Project-based learning is, in my view, the best way to learn. That is only my opinion.
Project-based teaching, with real projects
The course takes the form of a project, in the way Epitech does, the school where I studied myself. Epitech is a methodological reference here, not a partner. Participants bring their real projects.
A big thank you to Yassir Jabbari for his valuable contribution. We stay on Slack with Yassir Jabbari to help you with these projects.
